Patricia Azucena Diaz Motz, artistically known as Patty Dimo was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She studied painting from 1997 until 2002 in the art studio of Carolina Carias and which gave her the opportunity to participate in numerous collective exhibitions in her country and internationally, where she has received recognition through multiple awards.

Patty Dimo graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University Jose Cecilio del Valle – Tegucigalpa, Honduras, 2008.

She also holds a Master’s Degree in Art in Artistic Creation: Realisms and Environments. In the Facultat de Belles Arts, Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, 2012.

In 2020 she successfully completed an online course certificate in “Modern Art and Ideas” from The Museum of Modern Art.

Patty Dimo lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
